Would anyone be interested in doing breakfast Saturday or Sunday mornings in Long Beach close to the 405 and Atlantic exit? Just throwing it out there:mm:

I'd be up for it. Let's get it going and post on the main board when we figure out when.

Would everyone be willing to show up at Georges 50's diner Saturday morning @ 9 am?
http://www.sporq.com/longbeach/georg...390atlanticave
Corner of San Antonio and Atlantic about a mile north of the 405 freeway?
Not to be confused with Georges Greek Cafe on Atlantic.

I think I can make it. Are we just inviting trucks, or can we invite others with cars also?

You can come walking, on a bike, or on horse. It's all good!
I might take my Nova. Georges has decent parking and is one of the few family owned/run restaurants left. I thought it would be a good idea to patronize it. Never have ate there but have heard good reviews.

Is everyone o.k. with the time and day?
I believe John want's an earlier time.
I'd like to see a head count.

Tell all your friends,
huero.

If we're going to do this we should post a thread on the main board about it.

I agree. Or at least send private emails to a few people.
Other than that I will be working on my new engine.

Well if you guys want to do BBQ, I talked to my friend and he said we could hold a meet there. Its in Anaheim down the street from the Honda Center.
Just would need a few weeks to put it together and see if all are interested.
As far as Breakfast, yea lets throw it out there and just do it. Those who show thats fine, those who dont, maybe next time.

Also fellas, its not like we have to have a meet, if someone is working on their truck and need help, invite us over. In fact when I decided to take my bed off, I will be calling on a few of you.

This is Vdog. We have had a few local meets and its time for another. So im ending a message to see if you would be interested in a meet late April? My friend has a BBQ place in Anaheim on State College Blvd down from the Honda Center. Anyway he said that would be cool with him, so im putting it out there. This message will be posted in the SoCal Checking in and the SoCal Roll Call post.

Sample Picture of the food that will be served.

I'm up for it. When we get a date for it, we should post on the main forum as well.

My truck is no where near driveable, but I'd be interested in coming out from the IE for a weekend date at the end of April. :metal:

Re: SoCal checkin' in

If you cant drive your hotrod, still come. You never know who can help with advice, work or even parts unless you come a meet others who are fixing up there rods.

huero 04-01-2009 11:01 PM

Re: SoCal checkin' in

It might be a good idea to post a couple of dates so you can get responses on who can make it or not.
Just a suggestion.
