I'm really glad with how it turned out. This wasn't an original headliner truck and I think it looks about as good as any truck that came with headliner. I gotta drill some holes for lower trim and then I'll be sending her off to paint. Gonna order my wheels from intro tomorrow. Intro Vintage wheels, 22x10's out back with 4" of BS and 20x8s out front with 5.5 of BS:metal:

Thanks man. I placed my order with Intro today. Just got the rears. 22x10 with 4" of BS. I got just the recessed area brushed and the rest of the wheel will be polished. They told me it should be 4-6 weeks before I have them at my door step. I can't wait

Exactly what I was thinking. As soon as these come in the mail, I'll order my 9" to width. I already put in the order for my gear, I'm gonna be running a 3:30 posi:metal:

Also installed a nicer radio, the NOS heater control, and I took a couple pictures to show how nice the paint has turned out on this thing

Haha whats wrong with Holley?? That Edelbrock was a baseline turd carb anyway, this thing is gonna use some gas:chevy:

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

I'm one of those matching brand guys and once i'm on one side I'm stuck there I know that Holleys are more popular on these old blocks but I just like my Edelbrock stuff. Paint looks killer can't wait to see the outside done too I'm sure you're chompin at the bit as well

I guess I would rather run holley any day! Looking stellar sir! I know its around that midterm time and $#(^ gets deep with school so I applaud the update!

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Barely an update but I think I got an early LS6 motor for an early christmas present. Soooooo the 350 might get pulled out and replaced with a big block. I think its a 496, 4 bolt main, rectangular port heads, beast of a motor. If I can't fit it without cutting the firewall then I'll go with a fuel injected LS motor eventually but leave the 350 for now. Waiting on the wheels and tires to come in, wheels aren't gonna be until thanksgiving. Tires are Nitto 285/40/22s

Yes sir. I was doin some thinking and I already have grade A brakes, rearend, suspension, wheels and tires, and soon to be steering. So the only thing that would be holding me back on the track would be horses. So it makes sense to upgrade that right?:burnout: It made sense in my head until I tried to explain it to my girlfriend and she said "Whats wrong with the motor that's in it?"

The only thing that will suck will be losing the ground you already have covered. But a big block would be sweet!

True, I'd try and make it as simple as possible. Leave the th350 in for now so i dont have to mess with a high hump. Hopefully just a weekend swap thing
