Bounced up overnight from the $3.29 to $3.49 for 87 octane, doubt that we have seen the last of the increases.

$5.39 for premium today. I paid $5.09 for diesel. All the grades were over 5 bucks.

Re: Gas Prices?

Place by the house jumped from 3.29 to 3.59 today for 87 but they are always overpriced. All other gas stations I saw stayed the same price.

Vancouver B.C. jumped to 1.85 A LITRE, yes a litre. We are expected to go up here 5 cents because of the trouble in Europe. Vancouver is always high as I guess they are more green.

Re: Gas Prices?

Reg unleaded up to $3.29 In Knoxville today , On the news this morning they said it could go to 2008 high prices , Shipping parts prices are already higher than they were a few short years ago . With the unrest around the world it just shows us how fragile the current system is . I can't imagine how hard all this hit's a young family with a new mortgage a couple of kids , new truck/car payments and the costs of daycare so they both can go to work ? That's assuming they can find daycare ? it all revolves around the cost of fuel . :smoke:

Two weeks ago was $3.15, nearly a forty cent increase in two weeks alone. I'm sure it'll be $4.00 by St Patrick's day, shoot maybe sooner.
Something is going to blow soon...

Another forty cent increase, and in under 48 hours too!!!
$3.59 Tues - $3.79 Wed - $3.99!!! Today!

I guess my prediction sooner than Pattys's day came true.
Un-F-in-believeable!!!

We've jumped .65 a gallon in the past week, we are now at 5.55. That is the cheapest place in Colfax. The Chevron is over 6.00

Guys, please listen and pay attention to what Leon has said. This thread was started quite some time back and II would sure hate to see it closed down for the political comments. Let's just keep it informative about the pricing through out the country and for our friends to the North. We all have our own thoughts about the why but let's just keep those thoughts to ourselves. We're almost a year in on the start of this thread. :chevy:

Leon, thanks for stopping in and for giving a nudge to keep the thread on track.

I saw this today and about crashed my truck hitting the brakes.

Then I remembered that they tore all the gas pumps out at this place. They don't sell gas here anymore. Somebody is trying to be a comedian.

Real funny.

Re: Gas Prices?

Oh yeah sure, this is great. Last week I paid $3.60ish for gas. Today it's $4.30.

Much has jumped 40%+

Some folks want to blame covid, I'm not buying it. Sure it had some impact, that's what happens when societies are tutored to misfunction while others corner resources, IMO.

Oh, if only it were so. That would make 87 octane maybe $0.65 / 0.70 per gallon. Wishful thinking and remembering days gone by, LOL.

Re: Gas Prices?

Neighbor has eleven acres next to me with grass, during winter she feeds large round bales. Don't plan to buy her horses, maybe she will rent or charge so much per ride, She has saddles and a cart/wagon so may work out.

As for the horse s***, will go in the raised garden I'm building for some real tomatoes rather than the cardboard tasting 'maters one gets from the stores. Maybe put a few other veggies in also, onions, carrots, 'taters?
