For the corvette alternator, pin a is not used, pin b goes to connector 2 pin 15 of the ECM, pin c goes to connector 2 pin 52 of the ECM, and pin d goes through a 20 ga fusible link to the starter battery terminal...

my question is will the altenator charge if i just use the battery wire and the D wire ? i am using an aftermarket computor and stand alone harness that does not have an altenator connector.

no, i dont think it will.
the computer controls the 'exciter' of the alt......im pretty sure

it runs !!!!!!!! still have to get the exaust done and figure out how to make the altenator charge without the factory computer ,but it sound good!! can't wait to drive it and see if it runs as good as it sounds.
