-AH YES! Richard Thompson, one of the great unknowns. He was around back in the day. First as a founding member of Fairport Convention and later with his wife in the duet Linda and Richard Thompson.

The man writes songs as few can and his guitar work is even better. So many great artists have been inspired by him. One of my favorites. And like Warren Zevon he's not everyone's cup of tea.

In High School I was in love with Sandy Denny. I had the Fairport Convention cassette "Liege & Leaf" and listened to it over and over again.
