Yeah, there you go. That "automatic enrollment" in anything needs to be ILLEGAL!
How many of us have bumped the onstar button on the steering wheel by accident and had the autovoice come on asking if we need assistance? I never signed up for it on my '06 GMC but I guess it still does it to this day. When it does some times it doesn't want to stop no matter what I say. It just doesn't understand southern aggravated language.

This video always makes me laugh. This is a guy I know from Camaro5. At the time, and probably still to this day, this is the fastest 5th Gen Camaro in the world. He was running 225+ in the standing mile events in TX. On this run he lifted a head (at one point it had a 24-2800 hp twin turbo LS) and dumped coolant all over the back tires. The forces of him trying to get the car whoa-ed up and not pile it up resulted in the phone call in the video. I can only imagine trying not to crap your pants at 200 MPH and then having to deal with onstar lol.

It’s in the software he also disconnected the box I had my local shop guy do it . He does a lot of tuning and software upgrades . He managed to revert my 07 Dodge to its original program after Dodge flashed it without my permission . Truck kept throwing a code p1223 for no reason had everything checked . Dodge said it couldn’t be done but he did it no more code.

Mine was an old onstar new ones may be more complicated

Thanks. I'd go see him if he was just a little bit closer. Maybe I can find somebody out here.

That's crazy about Dodge doing a re flash that caused a code.

The re flash added software to monitor in coming and out going fuel in the rail . The parameters were based on a new vehicle . My truck has 180k on it so I don’t think it will be working within the parameters of a brand new truck . Truck would go into limp mode not good pulling 10k pounds of oak in the dump trailer . I had to carry a scan tool to erase the code on the road .

That would be frustrating not to mention, dangerous. Plus, there's no have-to-carry-a-scanner in team. Glad you have a guy who could fix it.

I believe Cummins has a TSB on it to change them back if the customer has problems now.

Back when I was working, I had my cell phone in the console, turned off. If anybody needed to contact me, they'd have to page me first. I saved battery power that way. I seldom used it and in the early days of owning it, it'd be dead a lot. Of course, now it is on all the time...
