I would agree with that statement, I have no tilt in my truck because that's how they were built in 1970 and, it makes my truck I feel more like a true truck. If my complete comfort has to suffer a little that's alright with me because, there's not much you could do about it back then but get in and drive imo.

I added a tilt to our truck, as the column needed to be rebuilt anyways, and it also gives more “headroom”.
