You have that truck looking pretty sweet now. Can you make a new rear shackle/hanger to get the drop you want to achieve?

I already have drop shackles installed and a hangar for the front will only lower it 2 inches. I think the springs they sent me are wrong, I sent them a email so we will see what they say.

So I ended up keeping the springs and installed drop hangers and took the overloads out of the new "drop" springs and the back looks way better. I need to get the driveshaft shortened now. Up next is rust repair and I might get the paint matched to hold me over for a few years.

So I still have this truck, I drove it all spring and fall of this year. I also moved to Idaho in August of 2018 and I drove it up from California to Idaho in December of 2018 talk about cold haha. The truck did great despite the 3000rpm for 900 miles.

While I was down in California for some business a few months ago, I stopped by Classic Industries and picked up a new set of "proper" 67 fenders. So I will be throwing those on soon.

Got the new correct 67 fenders on. Also had the outer/inner rockers replaced.

Very nice!!! You said the drive north was cold??? no heater???

Did you use drop spring hangers, AND drop shackles???
I'm trying ti find a set of drop shackles for a friends pickup. The stockers are 5 inches between the bolts. pictures of some on websites look even shorter...

Truck looks real nice. Was the dropped hanger you used an inch and a half and if so did you have any interference problems with the bed ? Reason I asked is I purchased a set of 4 inch drop springs and inch and a half drop shackles from Early Classic before they closed there doors and it looks real close, the bed hitting the top of the shackle that is.

Drop shackles are longer. Believe it or not this truck has a 2" drop shackle, 4" drop leaf springs and a 2" drop hanger my guess is the old springs were so worn out that they were sagged considerably. When I put the drop leaf springs in it lifted the truck about 2" lol.

The drop hanger was advertised as a 2" drop and I did have to notch the lower bedside a bit to clear the leaf spring bolt. The drop shackle did not clear the bed floor on mine so I shaved some of the wood off underneath for clearance.
