The amp I am currently planning to use (I have changed my mind about a dozen times so far) is the Massive Audio NX5. Tons of clean power, small, looks good mounted, and a good price. I need something to fit bellow my center seat folded down so you can't see anything (or very little) behind the seats.\

My space is about 24wx13h and the NX5 is 15"x5.5"x2.1".

Hey!!! I picked up the the Massive Audio N4 and the 4 channel for my Blazer about a month and a half ago...I've heard good things about them. I started the kicks yesterday, but it's over 100 degrees this week so I don't think I'll start back up on them until the weekend.

Do you have any pics of the kicks you built? I'm going to start building mine soon. They will be powered by a small footprint amp, NVX JAD800.4.

All I have done so far is a couple rings on dowels hot glued to a backing board. I'll try to take a few pics and post them up...I need to make the rings for the tweets next...

Got this email today from sonicelectronix.com with a 25% off coupon code (NVX25). It's a NVX 8" self powered low profile sub, the NVX Audio QBUS8 going for $199 which makes it $150 with the coupon.

A couple things I like about this one is the fact that the amp has a built in cross over, a subsonic filter and even a remote level. At 80 watts it's 20 watts less that the RetroSound version that the OP posted, but I think the price with the discount and the options the NVX has makes it a little better buy. I also like the rubber isolation mounts (at least they look like rubber).

Here's some pics (sorry, the pics are big on the site):

Did you buy one of these?
This looks like a nice little unit. My system is nothing special, and sounds decent, but I would like a little more umph on the low end. Would be interested to hear how well it works.

No...I need something a lot more hefty in my blazer than this with no top.

However, my neighbor has 2 of the products originally posted by the OP for sale. They are brand new and only wants 150 for each. His cousin tried using them under his buckets but didn't fit.

I fit a pioneer shallow 12 under my seat, and it pounds.

I went with the powered Kicker Hideaway and couldn't be more satisfied. It delivers a nice crisp punch and fits perfectly under the seat...

Infinity Reference subs are tough to beat for the money. They get loud, low, sound good and are easy on the wallet.
