I'm a high school teacher and I hear lots of lingo that I don't understand. Sometimes I do and I play dumb with the kids just to see what they say.

The high school kids at my school have new words that they're using. Those words are:
SPICY
ZESTY
RIZZ
GLIZZY

From what I gather, here's what they mean to these teenage minds.......
SPICY means you like confrontation & you'll fight if anyone messes with you at all
ZESTY means queer or gay
RIZZ means you're cool or you got it going on!
GLIZZY is a penis.

Kids today. :)

Thats,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, "Awesome" and at the same time it "Sucks" .. I will have to think a bit to see what was going around in my day in high school

I just stopped for tea and a gen z was sipping her coffee at the counter and saying to her friend "this is fire". I told her to put some ice in it.

May be. I may have just thought they were using it in a "not so nice" way.

Wonder what the reaction would be if I said "my wife said that glizzy I gave her last night was fire" tomorrow in class? I don't know. I'm thinking I better not.

I work with a younger girl in her 20's and said that she had to explain to her mom what the song WAP means and cracks up laughing. I had no idea what she was talking about either just stare blankly. She showed me the lyrics on her phone.:jdp:

I just use a skillet. Food tastes the same to me and takes up less space. I woke this morning to make sausage and eggs and realized I needed to wash the skillet first. Maybe I need to get wok :lol:
