How many different part numbers are there for these spindles?
Just one?

Most drop spindles come direct fit for the following years:
60-62
63-70
71-72
73-87

What year balljoints do these fit?

I am very interested in a pair but before ordering I would also like to know what ball joint fits this spindle/ or if there is multiple spindles, one to fit each set of years specific ball joints....

Guess I'm impatient... I called Jeff.

These are not going to be a new line of drop spindles. They are replacing CPP's normal drop spindles and all part numbers will remain the same as the old.

CP4S1=60-62
CP4S2=63-70
CP4S3=71-72
CP4S4=73-87

Jeff said the new spindles are lighter and a much cleaner casting. Now to get the funds:metal:

So,... if the number is the same,... how do you verify you are geting the new design?
(a different part number would have been alot easier)
I'm sure there is a surplus of the old castings still.

Decided to save some more money up and get the modular drop spindles. Thanks for the info.

That is cool your choice so you know the modular is $299.00 pair and the caliper brackets are $79.00 a pair let me know.

So you know this spindal is great to use if you are using stock heavy 1/2 ton
brake it with a 12 inch rotor and works great with bigger brakes as well.

Big news here at Scotts we just got our stocking order in on Cpp dropped spindals

We have 70-72 in stock and they are ready to go

We have 73-87 in stock and they are ready to go

For all 63-69 these spindals are a week 1/2 out from being ready to ship


We have orders going out daily
