One time I pulled right up to a couple of CHiPs right at a red light..thump'n away with no hood....They looked at the engine...looked at me...then took off. I think I dislike the motor-cycle police the worst, not sure why...mabey it cause they can pull right up to your window and talk s#it !! Later |

kissingbug1978 To answer your question: What size tires are you running in the rear? I see the mini-tubs but, are you still running trailing arms?

Yes, I love the Yellow 63. At one time I drove my truck without a hood and, without a bed.....didn't get pulled over. But, got funny looks. Once a cop said once when it was raining, Can you drive the truck in the rain with the hood off? Said yep! Wrapped the distributor up with a plastic bag and away we go....ha ha The whole frame has been altered. We cut holes in the sides of the frame. Thinking about the bed.....I dont like it. Might put a new bed on it. Those are some good looking "dog-legs" fellas. Although I am partial to the 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, I dig all the '60-'66 rigs.

Post Your 60-63 Body Style Chevy/GMC Trucks
Any of ya fellas got anymore pics of your 60-63 Chevy Trucks? Ole' "Full Metal Yellow Jacket" Is idle at this time. With High Gas Prices, and an hour commute 6 days a week ($600+ a month)......No extra funds to start back working on her. She hasn't been touched in 3 years! Not even cranked! With a 15gallon Fuel cell, and Premium Gas......I can't even afford to drive her! High gas prices just mean some of us fellas are leaving our classic chevys in the garage rather than cruising. Hopefully soon, I can get her back on the road and Light up the Tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
