Will they cover the heater control hole??
If so I'll take 2. 1 for me and 1 for Arad68.

I just checked and it will fit over the heater control hole as well. It would be shifted to the right about a 1/4" to avoid the ignition ring, but once installed you'd never know this. So, yes...it will work for the heater control hole :metal:

dude, I think you have some customers here! nice clean design. period. I really like the hidden mounting screws. what size? #8 or #10 threads??

yep, I'm with Caminokid. you should think of applying for a patent...... at least get it in the process that way you would have proprietary rights.

They are #8 screws, more than adequate to hold it in place :metal:

So, just by applying for the patent and getting the ball rolling I have proprietary rights? I'm new to this stuff.

Nice work! I'm with some of the others, I would like to see it mounted in the dash, with and without a radio.

I saw a similar dooey-bob on a '71 at the Swap Meet a few weeks ago and have been searching for one ever since. Therefore you can count me in for one, maybe two as well. Polished would be great, raw would be fine too- as I can do the finish work myself.

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

I don't have it installed but I will try and get some pictures today of it held up to the dash in the factory stereo location and over the heater controls...

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

I'm in for one possibilty two if the price is reasonable. Polished or not.

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

I'm in for a raw one if it looks alright installed. or just help up.

Looks like you have a winner on your hands here.
