Beautiful truck. Nice call on the paint color. You going to run stock style wheels and tires? I hope so, it will be the icing on the cake.

Yes i am going to run the stock wheel and tires, i am trying to get some wheels for the back from another board member here. Tires will come from coker tires that are the original 1s from factory.

does anybody make a brake upgrade to make the drum brakes on the early 60s axles work better?
had a 61 k20 for years that i made a hot rod 4x4 dually out of,but even with brand new drums/shoes mastercylinder etc the braking was less than impressive if i needed to stop fast.
i suppose the hot rodded 415" small block chevy didnt help matters any! :devil:
anyway now ive got a 56 chevy 3/4t pickup and an extra front axle from a 63 k20 i want to build another hotrod that looks like an origional 4x4,but id like to be able to stop.
would newer style master cylinder and a power booster help?
