No problem, Joe. Sit down, though. They aren't cheap.

I also got a set of 8 lug 16.5 slots for project. Also have a set of matching 15x10s for the brown truck. I like them.

I looked em up at Coker yesterday. They run $150 a piece, plus about $50 to ship so I'm looking at paying $350 if I go through them. Seems to be around the going rate for that size.

That's better than I thought they would be. Tire Rack is $145 each. Remember when Radial T/A's were $50 each?

A buddy of mine just hooked me up with a big ol' stack of Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding Magazines from the 60's, 70's and 80's. The prices in those ads in them almost make me cry! $25 tires, Cragars wheels $40 a piece, $30 camshafts, new Holley carbs for $50, 4 speeds for $150 "outrite", engines for $200.

The styles of the vehicles are pretty bada$$ too. Got me on a 70's kick for my truck...these slots came just in time! :metal:

On another note: two ads that are close to eachother in one issue show Cragar brand intake manifolds and engine parts, a couple pages over there's an ad for Holley wheels AND tires. Pretty dam cool... :ito:

I decided to paint the black in the slots green, the color that the truck is eventually going to be. Right now the roof and interior are green...

Got my lugnuts, and since I'm running them 'capless' I got some chrome hub dust covers. The hub will also be green... Just got to wait until next payday to wait for the swap.:waah:

I like those. I was wondering if they came in an 8 lug 16" version.
