I left the little crossmember at the back in on purpose, trying to prevent the frame from spreading. But apparently that didn't work, because it still took some ratcheting to get it just right for the rear xmember.

With the xmember lined up with the mounting holes on both frame rails, the carrier mounts are about 4.25" too far back.

After two different unsuccessful PB xmember installs, I opted for the CPP one that doesn't require an altered driveshaft.

Work's been busy, but I'm still pluggin' away on this thing.

Frame notch holes have been cut out, and the first halves of the notch were bolted up and welded in. Rear cross support bar has been bolted in too.

Not yet. I was losing a little momentum on this thing. But, my goal is to have it rolling by the end of next week.

I've made a little progress this week.

Finished installing all of the lower bolts for the notches. Installed all of the lug studs too. Should be picking up tires tomorrow or Thursday, and getting my calipers back from paint. I wanted to have the CPP decal cleared over.

The powdercoat color on the springs actually looks a lot closer to the calipers in person.
