Got a few things done today. The Boyd's Welding fuel tank is drilled and ready for installation after the suspension is complete. The engine is ready to be pulled, but the weather was nasty here today, so I am going to try and get it out in the morning. Progress has been achieved!

More progress today. Removed the front cross-member, steering box and master cylinder this afternoon. Also had an important part arrive, my Classic Instruments gauge cluster came in. Pics...

I'm subbed for this one -- that patina is awesome. And I really like those caps -- you plan on running the same ones after your 5-lug swap?

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Took the day off today, I was beat from the cross-member swap, more to come in a few days!

I will be selling the wheels/caps as soon as I get the swap done and the tires off. Seems to be a good bit of interest in them...;)

I'm not a big fan of aftermarket steering wheels in these trucks but yours looks pretty good!

the new gages and steering wheel look nice, by the look of the pile of parts something big is going to happen soon. Looks great so far

Nah, it's pretty cracked. I am also not a small man so the smaller wheel will give me some room.

Tried to finish up the front end today. Ran into a problem with the idler arm, had to order a different one. Anyway, I did get the bearings packed and the rotors installed.
