+1, the only ones that I have heard that had a quality issue were the 73-87 style.

thats what i was wondering i was checking mine out when i got them even if a weld breaks the only thing welded on is the bolts to keep them from spinning since u can't get to them on the back side my looked great and worked perfect i did have to shorten my drive shaft though

This thread is enough to make me question the quality of DD mounts:

There has also been discussion on here about their quality, but people still seem to buy them.

I think they need a few things at that company

1. A good welder
2. A certified welder to use the good welder
3. A REAL CWI to check the welds NOT an in-house CWI

I don't think they have any which probably led us all here. Mine were cold welded but not anything like that although my cousins had some porosity and i told him to send them back but he didn't

Re: My dirty dingo motor mounts

The only welds on mine are the bolts so they won't spin when tightening. So even if the welds break the bolt head is not going to pull thru the plate... I'm more worried about other things breaking before these.... I do agree for the money, they could of welded the bolts up better....

I had a buddy that used the 73 + mount from them and he cut the welds and re welded them him self so I do agree that's why I used the slider mounts where the o my thing welded was the bolts to keep them from spinning
