Geeze , if I only had five trucks to chose from, if I had a PB suspension laying around in my shop, if I had a 350 & 700r4 already, really really really well I guess at least I can tag along and dream.

Hey what did you do with all the parts you took off that were on the trailer ?

Yes really  I'm a Porterbuilt dealer and I had one in stock and the motor I've had for years.....I'll have to dig up a picture of it......I scraped all the stuff on the trailer

I didn't realize you were a PB dealer. I may have to pick your brain on the suspension for my '69 swb fleetside when I get closer. That motor looks great!

Ok so I have a question. I'm in Florida and we buy rust... Lol.
What does a truck like that go for? I always see guys building these really clean trucks be never see them for sale. Just curious on price of one of these unmolested trucks.

Just be prepared to write a big check for these old trucks.
They are going up every day!
$10k won't buy what it use to with these original paint/rust free beauties.

I've paid 3k for a nice swb and I've paid 9k for another one....just depends on the condition but the price has more than doubled (or more) in the last 4-5 years......getting really hard to find nice stuff anymore.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I paid $6250 for mine last year. It has some rust: half dollar size spot on passenger side of firewall, passenger front fender lower cup, and both outer rockers (one is rusted and one is crushed in), but I'm happy with what I paid. Being a step or a fleet make a good bit of difference too. Same guy I bought mine from sold a '70 step side late last year for around $7500 so the price is going up on the steppers too.
