Re: 68 Custom Camper 50th
I am interested also.
Still think that was quite the gusty road trip in an untested classic of any model. |
Re: 68 Custom Camper 50th
Cool truck, great story. I realize this is an old thread, but I see you were in here today.
Guy in TN. selling an old Chevy truck on >Craigslist<: "Truck runs great, everything works as it should. I would not be afraid to drive this truck to CA." Guy from TN. flies to CA. to buy old Chevy truck not afraid to drive it to TN. :metal: |

@68Gold/white
The 1968 Goldie I drove from CA to TN was sold a couple years after my original post, to a fellow who took it to Germany after touring it around the US. He then sold it to @GerhardH who posted to this same thread about the "twin" truck. It was a great truck. |
Re: 68 Custom Camper 50th
I finally figured out that this was an old posting from 2015.
The give away was the total money he spent on fuel for the trip of 2547 miles $2.59 per gallon was his average lol Good luck with that today especially here in CA. Gallons: 204.426 Total: $529.12 (back in 2015) |
