Good progress! It looks like your door panels and armrests came out really well. I find that I am content to do cleaning, patching, painting, gluing or whatever it takes to use original stuff. No judgment on anyone else's approach, but I don't mind cracks and wear and tear if I can have original parts.

OG parts are the way to go if you can. For sure!

Well its been quite awhile. I moved up to Washington state and sold the truck because I had no where to put it.
The new owner modified it a bit and still had the truck. I couldn't stand it. i bought it back last week. LOL.
Going to pick it up soon. I'll send some new pictures.... The bed is a lot shorter now

Looks great! How did you lower it? Is that down at Coyote Customs in Oklahoma? I thought I recognized his cuts...

McGaughy lowering kit, spindles, springs, C notch

it was done in Oregon, not OK. I think a lot of people are doing it this way.

Starting to get it cleaned up again. i am not sure if I like the sport bumper. Most people prefer them, but I think i will put the original bumper back on and see what that looks like. I like it better because that's what the truck came with originally.
Also I am going to raise it up an inch. Just a little to low to drive without being nervous about every bump.
Maybe in a couple years i will build this into a pro-street with air ride truck???

Very cool truck, glad you got it back! It looks great right there, I wouldn't raise it up personally. I drove my square at ~5/6 for a long time with no issue on rallies and now I'm 5/8 on 20s and take it everywhere without issue

I’ve been doing a few things here and there. Cleaning, painting trim (not to nice though), and installing some mild Slosh Tubz. The tires rubbed on some bumps. I couldn’t stand. And I’ve used Slosh Tubz before. Very high quality.

Also received my QA1 front coil over suspension. I will install it this winter. Same setup as I used on my ‘66.

It was go good, I had to use it again.

I want this truck to be an everyday “shop truck” type of driver that anyone can get in and drive without any hassles.

Hope y’all like it

Seth - Everything looks good! I've been debating on using the QA1 setup for my 84, but haven't quite pulled the trigger. Where did you source it from? Take care and post more pics!

Thank you Rob. I got the Crossmember from AZperformance. I should have it all buttoned up in a couple weeks. Just haven't had much time with the holidays. I wanted it for the additional 2" of ground clearance. And the rack and pinion steering helps too lol
