Re: LS Swap Radiator help for my '67 C10

On my 65 I used the original three core radiator, has the transmission cooler I got a pair of fans from Summit racing that fit perfectly, it had a mounting point in each corner of its shroud I made for angle brackets that attached to the core support. Even in heavy traffic with A/C on it never overheats next week I’m going to be towing a 16 foot travel trailer but I don’t expect any issues

Re: LS Swap Radiator help for my '67 C10
I have a factory radiator, 70 c10, with a 2010 Ford Edge electric fan setup, took a little plastic trimming but fits nearly perfect, and inexpensive/ a relatively common part

Re: LS Swap Radiator help for my '67 C10
I probably went overboard but I ended up buying the Entropy direct fit for my '67 LS1 swap.
I put the core support on, mounted and plumbed it for start up... I set the fan temps to 185° for #1......195° for #2 Got the motor fired up and idled it until fan#1 came on.... it never got hot enough for #2 fan to come on...so I forced it on... the front of the radiator was cool enough that I could hold my hand on it... Yea...I probably spent too much but I know that cooling will not be a problem |
