Got home Thursday at 3am and went to work at 6pm so I'm a little off on the sleep. The last day we stayed over at Salt Lake city area so we could see Promotory point in more detail and the engines. We then drove to the Salt flats were we took pics same place we did our Belair a decade ago more stickers on the sign these days. Then booked it to reno where the sign was half lit up and on the way back to the bay stopped at Sacramento train museum where I loved going as a kid and had a fire there when I was a fireman. All in all 3.5 quarts of oil, half cup of power steering fluid and half gallon of coolant plus lots of fuel. Little over 6200 miles driven in 10 days. Thinking about going to deadwood in August for Kool nights as there is a casino there with my last name of anybody is interested.

That is a great batch of photos.
On the not being able to post some of the photos if the resolution is high or the internet is slow it is best to take it a little slower and pick a photo and then upload it and after it is uploaded pick a second photo and upload it and then do the same with the third, fourth and fifth. I can't upload more than two photos on here at a time at home due to my slow internet but have been able to do five while doing it at some places (including a McDonalds) with fast internet. You can still post five at a time but have to upload one at a time or maybe two or it times out.

I think I have a photo of my 48 in front of the predecessor of that sign from 1998. I know I took one at the other sign out on the road that is a requisite for going. They installed a new sign at the end of the road a couple of years ago and the old one is on display somewhere in Wendover complete with the stickers that piled up on it for years.

Even when I do it 1 at a time it still will time out!! So frustrating. People keep saying to do a you tube thing of my trip but its just pics not sure how to do that. Need to figure that out too.
