Thats crazy,I got hit head on both going 55 and the frame on my 98 Silverado was perfect after wonder why the difference

Finally starting to work on the jimmy again got to get the bottom of the cab and rear floor painted before winter so I can put it back on the frame. Got the cap part painted just have to paint under the bed floor. Couldn't find any news paper to tap off the body so I used my old LMC magazine.

Got the bottom of the jimmy paint read to put the body back on.

Nice. Looks scary with the body up like that. Probably feel pretty good to get it back on it's foundation.

Finally back on the frame ready for the body shop to see how much the body got twisted.

If the body bolts lined up with the new different frames mounting locations, then it should be pretty close. You may have to shim the mounts to get good door gaps.

I had to use shim last time I restored it.
