Didn`t get much work done on my truck today just cleaned the carb and removed the vapor canister. did get some work done on my buddy`s 82 and started blasting and cleaning up some parts I had laying around plus another buddy`s tripower manifold (Have finished pics of it later this weekend).

Also got some work brake work done and buttoned up the exhaust on the 49. The emblem and trunk latch are from a 56 ( I think) chevy custom deluxe I found in the woods along with a sweet 48,49 Plymouth. I will try and get pics of those two up later

Here is the chevy sedan i pulled the emblems off of and a few pics of the 48/49 Plymouth nearby. :waah: wish i could save the Plymouth I hate to see anything rot.

AHHHH that plymouth all I see is potential that looks like a real "wood" find, but no telling how long it's been there, regardless man its sweet!

Ain't that the truth but it's almost half worth it to still grab it just to get it out of there, but it also makes you wonder why it's there you know?

Got the new grille in today (well new to me) Just resprayed the black and cleaned black off the trim using a pinstripe eraser wheel. Got it off a buddy for $10

finally the motor swap got finished for the impala so got my old/new dd back! :chevy: I was getting tired of that temperamental ford :drama: this thing caused with all its control modules and iffiness from being in a P.I.T. maneuver.

haha!! It would i have an extra light bar in the basement (hmmm) lol. cops are already irritated by the cars so i think i won`t be installing it anytime soon.

Haha man sometimes cops just trip me out honestly, I don't want it to seem like I don't like cops cause I am thankful for what they do, whether we believe or not they do protect us, the thing that irritates me about cops is when they pull people over for minor things that aren't that HUGE of a deal like taking too wide of a turn when there is nobody on the road who am I going to hit really? Well yeah that's my little rave on cops lol

Yeah I'm just going to have the mindset that they just want to admire my truck and jealous that they aren't about that squared life haha!

Which its funny I say that I took my truck out for a cruise last night after I was done with some sanding and priming, I had started my turn and I was going to lay into it and kind of smoke the tires a little bit I saw red and blue about a half mile down the road well let's just say I backed off didn't feel like that would of been smart but I just did a little turn around waited for them to pass and when they passed well yeah loud and screeching was heard! :lol: :chevy:

:agree: could not have put it better myself, and I did not get jack done on the truck i was in Springfield. Hopefully i will get started on pulling the motor tomorrow and get cleaning started in the engine bay as well.

I can only imagine how tough it is in california, comparatively cops are not bad here at all in Mo, they are used to these "good ole' boys" and the trucks. I have a buddy who moved here from Mariposa and he said they would get you for anything and everything involving vehicles.

HAHA! I would hate cali honestly i think more so the emissions more than anything I enjoy not having to worry about anything just got to make sure it stops lol but truthfully my friend did tell me this that in reality theres so many little things can stop you for that its stupid.

got the motor and tranny pulled today, tomorrow will start cleaning everything and fixing some rust while i`m at it. hope to have it done by the weekend. :metal:

I was just looking through your pictures you posted yesterday man, I just laughed so hard cause your bed looks like mine, just got everything thrown in the back as if its storage compartment lol I had to clean mine, but it still has my seats and trim sitting in the back and some ramps, haha the beauty of owning a truck for me a long bed at that lol

Patched a hole in the roof from a visor, and had enough paint to do a coat on one pipe, also Got a call and they say the motor is ready for pickup!!!! :metal::metal:, man sooner than i thought i need paint and fluids :lol:
