Re: Project "Lucky 13"
so - some updates.
cab is painted. I am floored by how good this came out. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...sxywebawq.jpeg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...sbpkilwva.jpeg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...psdcrsvvki.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s5btttuxd.jpeg and the console I picked up at a boneyard for $20. It was red originally, but I dyed it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...sadyz53av.jpeg |

Re: Project "Lucky 13"
there are a few issues with bed, but I'm satisfied - this is not a trailer queen, it's a driver. The bed rails were wavy as hell, but I worked them really good - not bad for a guy with almost no body work experience.
still needs wet sanded, but I'm very pleased overall |

Re: Project "Lucky 13"
Bed on - I gotta do some cutting on bed cross-member so the damn tank will fit though
Not to bad for doing everything in a driveway and 1 car garage (as we also work on a 69 Camaro). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps6s43kfsp.jpg |
Re: Project "Lucky 13"
bed cross member cut out and tank fitted - should work well. It hangs down a little more than I would like, but hey I got a tank.
Also got the transmission crossmember mocked in and measurements on driveshaft. |
Re: Project "Lucky 13"
I'm following. Nice man.

Re: Project "Lucky 13"
So work on lucky 13 has stalled for a while. I lost my job for a while, the guy helping me with it lost his job, money was tight, blah blah blah...
Thought I was gonna have to sell the truck, but got a new gig so back to working on it slowly. Here is where we are now... |

Re: Project "Lucky 13"
I have an engine pic, but it isn't resizing.
all fuel lines and brake lines are ran. I got the booster in yesterday, so I will install that and the proportioning valve tomorrow or the next day. Also got the power steering pump cleaned up and installed. The pulley was bent, so I am on the search for one. Cleaned the interior floor and such, and I have a few things left to fix before we can paint. I need a driveshaft and a few other parts, but my hope is to have it on the road by the end of summer. |
Re: Project "Lucky 13"
