Still need to tune it, had to shut it off cause the Oil Pressure gauge we had wasn't working. We didn't want to tear it up.

 Don't know exactly, the guy i bought the motor off of couldn't remember the cam specs. All he could tell me is big. My brother is friends with the machine shop owner that built the motor so we will try to find out. It's ok I loved it, this is not a daily driver so I like it loud. I will see how my vacuum is and change to a smaller one if needed. I do have a brand new Comp Cam Magnum 280H that came with the motor. When I bought the motor the guy was trying to clean out the garage so he started giving me stuff, he was like I don't need this so you can have it.

Bolted on my first piece of the body before we started the motor so I could mount my radiator. It was a huge accomplishment for me this weekend. It was the ispiration I needed to get this truck finished.

I really like the orange paint on the motor and tranny. How did you clean the transmission before you painted it? Sounds nice too :) And one other thing, I read your whole thread through but it was a while back, how are you doing your fan, will it fit behind the radiator or are you putting a pusher on it. Keep up the good work

Thanks, I cleaned the tranny with 2" sanding discs on a air sander. Then just prepped and painted it. I plan on mounting electric fans between the pulleys and the radiator if I have enough room for it. Looks like it will be a tight squeeze but hopefully i can get it to work. If not I will have to mount them in front of the radiator pusher style.

Thank you.

Don't have any pictures from this weekend but we started working on welding up my rear window seam that was rotted out. My brother is tig welding it and it is a PITA. There is some thin metal there and we may have to cut out and redo some sections. Also will have to pick myself up a stud gun cause it is starting to warp in some areas from the rotisserie. We should have welded up the back window before mounting it to the rotisserie and flipping it on its front to finish the floor. It was really frustrating, I really wish I had started with a rust free cab :waah:
