Just a suggestion, I'd probably think about moving that ground strap to the front of the head some day, the bolt its attached to goes into the cooling system if i'm not mistaken, so if ya ever need to clean your battery connections at the engine your messing with the intake manafold torque and gasket, and a bolt that needs to be sealed when reinstalled.. Better to have it attached to a place where it won't mess with gaskets ect....

Um, I don't see anywhere on the front of the head to mount it. I know it's a dark picture but old heads don't always have mounting holes.

Yep. granny low was great when I was pulling my uncles trailer out of the mud where it sat for 25 years and flat tires

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

 so you upgraded to a 4 spd the thing i dont like about 4wds or manuals is the high hump and then when your working on somthin under the dash its not comfortible:lol:

The 4 speed is original. The hump can be kind of annoying when working on the dash lol, but you can also use it as a foot rest haha

67chevy1series 01-07-2011 02:39 AM

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

 a foot rest like that but if you ever have those nice women and your driving them home the one in the middle isnt gonna feel comfortiable:lol: its funny how dis advantages can become advantages
