We ran a few pieces into powder coating...all were done in an HPC polished ceramic. The down tubes needed to be more heat resistant since they were so close to the headers, and we just wanted the other parts to match. |

This engine is going to make a lot of heat, so we applied heat shield to each side of the lower firewall behind the headers...that combined with the extreme HPC coating on the headers will hopefully keep the floors from cooking! The front end pics show the other pieces we had ceramic powder coated to match the down tubes...front end is going back together for good now.:metal: |

The padding and carpet (front so far) were installed by a local upholstery shop. It's not a molded kit, just bulk carpet that we liked and picked up at a local fabric supply house and took to our guy. We were supposed to take it in for the rear carpet and headliner today, but got rained out...try again Monday. |

Doors, rear upper gate, and the rear trim pieces are all painted. My son completely rebuilt the doors/vent windows, and upper/lower rear gates with new trim, gaskets, seals, channels, and felt throughout.

We didn't really like the stock arm rests and had never put one on the passenger side, so we made some new ones for each side. |

Got the center console and a few other small parts painted this morning...same metallic grey as the interior. Our buddy Scott came through for us again! We're putting it together for the last time now...feels good to bolt it in knowing you aren't pulling it again! |

More fun stuff...we sourced these push button switches from Billet Automotive Buttons out of Australia.
Some are momentary, but most are on/off, depending on function. All of our systems will run through these except basic column controls...turn signal, horn, and hazard. We're running a Dakota Digital dash and my son will custom wire the whole burb...should be fun! |
