Website stopped letting me upload via my phone so im a little behind.

Finished the console and got it wired and installed with my $200 chinese dbl din GPS unit.

Drove her 140 miles one weekend and she did great. However the next week the rear apparently opened up and started seaping more. Plus she started idling bad and when i took off in 2nd gear a foul smell arouse so i think i was burning my clutch up so ill have to be a little better about that.

So i tore the rear end a part and am waiting on seals/gaskets since the auto parts store didnt have them. In the mean time i put some rustoleum on the Chunk i had waiting to install. So ill be going from the 280 to 325 so a lil more pep and still should be able to get her on the hwy

I also installed a powermaster 1 wire 100 amp alt that fixed the electrical dimming issues during idle

Yes sir! Car was originally an i6 but at some point the swapped stuff out. I was surprised how easy it was to pull the axles out. I used the Drum as a slide hammer on the lugs and it took one pull on each side..Bearings are even in great shape...I was soo shocked

installed the 3.25 rear chunk and torqued to 30lbs. Pushed the axles in a made sure everything fit right and turned.

I was going to put the whole rear back together but i decided the drums were old and rusty and needed replaced so since i had everything taken a part i ordered a rear disc conversion for toms classics. 11 discs and was rather cheap. So ill install those when they get here and continue to reassemble the rear.

also installed a new shifter and the boot

My kit arrived and i have got it installed. Took some work as the rotors had to be drilled to go over the bottom lip on the studs. Guess thats what happens when you have a hodge podge of parts. Kit uses 79 Firebird rotors and 85 eldarado calipers/pads but for $250 i cant complain
