I got first test batch done. Minor tweaks and I'll be good to go.
I'll also have the '73-'77 front plate for the rear floor ready by then as well
It'll be made from stainless like the original.
As soon as I figure out photo hosting, I'll post pix up
Thanks!

Rear plates are back in stock!
Will be ready for shipping March 12/20
Prices will be same. Costs went up but I'll honor the original 67-72 price
73-77 front plates will ready around end of March. Maybe sooner.
Sorry for delay but 2019 was bit of a$$ kicker.
I made them hair longer for those with custom side panels and redesigned the holes.
Same quality, just small changes.
PM any questions you have.
Thanks for your support!

PM on its way.
Got you covered for a rear plate. Front plate production has ground to a halt due to the virus.

After a lot of false starts over last few yrs, , pretty stoked I finally got these ready to go. It's a fairly complex piece to make but I'm happy with way they turned out. I'm real picky when it comes to my truck and wanted a product that I would I buy.

These fit all full size Blazers & Jimmy from 1973 to 1991. I checked those against a bunch of trucks and against several plates.
The 73-91 rear scuff plate is often trashed and just plain missing and NOS is long gone and not cheap if you do find one.

Made in right here in California from US material.
Not made overseas whatsoever!

I made them thicker than the originals so they are a little more dent resistant and also made rear lip that sits on the carpet longer so carpet stays put.
They come covered in protective vinyl with a mill finish that matches original but can be polished to a mirror if thats look you want.
I will also be including proper GM small head oval #8 screws with the plate.
Plate works best on fresh carpet or rubber mat with underlay. They work fine on old carpet but sometimes they can get caught under the tail gate if carpet is really mashed down. Flattened carpet can put plate at wrong angle.

They are $135 shipped anywhere in lower 48. They will be on eBay as well but obviously higher priced there.
Look over the pix and PM or reply here with questions.

And replied...
I'm working on new shipping method as no matter what I do USPS finds a way to wreck them in the EXACT some manor. Wrecked 7 in last 2 months.
Boxed, doubled boxed, tube, triangle box, braced...they find a way to bend them. Trying one more thing and if it doesn't work, Im tossing in the towel.

Have you tried the hard pressed 90 degree cardboard lengths? I have had good luck with those and also a 1x2 seems to work well and they are cheap. Just a thought. I ship almost daily and have had good luck those ways

Re: 73-91 K5 Blazer Jimmy rear sill scuff plates NEW

Way ahead of you. Tried both of those and they snapped them. Shipped dozens and lost total of maybe 12.
The fact that USPS is blaming packing on their poor handling is mind boggling. And they won't honor insurance claims.
Takes a lot of effort to bend these like that. I've tossed them off a roof from 45' up multiple times and no damage. Ran over the box with my truck. Tweaked but still good.
Pretty sure what's going on is they are being driven into front wall of a trailer while forklift pushes in mail tote.
Nothing is going save them.

Irish - if you’re still shipping, I’d like to buy both front and rear. However, it looks like the front plates may not be available right now? But I’ll certainly take a rear if it’s available.

Thx.

PS - what about using a PVC pipe to ship? Just a thought...
