So was mine. I purchased it used 2 years old from Burt and it still has the original Burt Chevrolet sticker on the tailgate that was applied when it was new.

Burt Chevrolet is still in buisness in the same location in Englewood, Colorado.

An old boy named Harry Curry from Lake City, Ia. bought my 1969 new from "Macke Chevrolet/Buick" in Lake City, Ia. on 7-18-69 ( I got that from the protect-o-plate). Ive got old registrations back to 1979 from the guy I bought it from...

I have the pre-delivery check list sheet & also this sheet. No glove box option list though, previous owner had the truck painted black cherry & now its history...

That is interesting to hear of another. Is there any way you can get a pic of yours? I'll grab one of mine this week.

My first longhorn had almost all of the papers... everything from the dealership was there, so i have the original owner's name and everything. Spoke to his widow shortly after buying the truck.

The truck i have now, the build sheet was handed to me right before we left OLDCHEV4X4's house and the dealership's name and addy is printed on it.

look one post above yours.
Other than documentation, dealer stamped bumpers, or asking the previouse owners, there is no way.

On the back bumper of mine says OTIS MOORE CHEV INC. FULTON, MISS and on the front left fender it has a tag for Page Chevrolet in Red Bay, AL. I know Page is still in business. I bought it from the 3rd owner in Red Bay.

Hicks Bros. Chevrolet, the dealership is long gone. $3788.92. I have the Dealer stamper bumper off this truck too, but I didn't really like it on the truck. I am going to mount it in my basement with the tailgates.

Here's a pic of my dealer sticker, very tough to make out if you're not about 6 inches away, it says Burt Trucks, Englewood, Colorado-

Re: where was your truck originally sold?

Colony Chevy is closed. The only dealership left in Paoli is a F*rd dealer. I used to run a route along Lancaster Ave (rt 30) for years.

My 72' Burb was bought new at Reedman in Langhorn, Pa and my 71' Burb was bought new at a dealer in Salem, NJ(can't remember the name off hand, it's on the bill of sale tho)

Re: where was your truck originally sold?

My 1969 4x4 1/2 Ton Fleetside Longbox was:

Built at: Oshawa, Ont. Can.
Built on: Novemeber 12, 1968
Shipped on : Novemeber 12, 1968
Delievered to: Richardson Auto Sales Ltd. in St. Mary's, Ont., Can.

My research to this day has turned up nothing on weather or not this place still exists. I'm guessing it was a smaller dealership (St. Mary's was a tiny town back then) that either relocated for a larger place and changed names or closed altogether.

My '69 was sold at Banner Chevrolet in Denton, TX. My neighbor saw the Banner emblem on the cowl and told me he used to work for them. The truck has been in Denton it's entire life.

my nova has 3 biuld sheets i found in it when i was tearing it apart, its from beatrice nebraska but i cant remember the name of the dealership.
