Wow, That bed looks slick with the clear on it. Looking real good , cant wait to see it put together and in the sunlight. Thats the same color my truck is going to be.

Re: my 65 fleetside build

I like it! You've done a great job so far, and I'm anxious to see it when it's all in color and assembled. Can't go wrong with red!

You're going to like that 406. It sounds as if that motor is going to be a little screamer. I have always been a fan of the 400. I've built quite a few, and have given people rides and they swear that there's a big-block under the hood.

You're doing a great job on this one.

Im jealous! I wish I knew how to do all your doing. i still have alot to learn at 19. I can teach you how to upload pics if you teach me what you know about the truck."13yo needs to come home" :) but great truck, work, and build. subscribed!

Re: my 65 fleetside build

thanks to allaboutcheveles, and chevyrestoguy,brandonc20, i really appreciate the coments. i do have to admit for someone with a severe lack of body work skills the bed came out amazingly
straight i was very pleased. cant wait to color sand and buff then get it put together. as far as the motor goes we ran it in a s10 at our local 1/8 mile strip and it went a 7.46 on the motor we never did spray it but i am planning a 150 shot in the 65. and to brandon, you are the kind of inspiration us old men need, i only wish they were more young men like you eager to learn and not afraid to work for what they want, that would make this old world a lot better place to live in.still waiting on my technical helper, she is at her nana" and papaws for a couple days.
