Made some progress over the weeks, wasn’t much to show picture wise, had to pull the transmission due to a brand new leaking slave cylinder. Plumbed all the brake lines, so now the truck has brakes. Made my own side exit exhaust, wired the truck from to back with the exception of the LS engine harness due to a horrible eBay seller who said 4 weeks (currently just passed 6 weeks). Started to due some patch work on the bed while waiting for the engine harness so I can start it and hear it run and go through the gears.

More pics, the wiring is not all tucked away
, so don’t judge, I’ll tidy it up when I get to the interior and finish wiring the interior |

Looks good. Congrats on moving forward. Wiring can slow things down.

Made some progress this weekend, finally received the wiring harness back after 7 weeks(was promised 4 weeks) after multiple ignored emails and 4 times over a two week span of being told “I’m shipping it tomorrow “ I had to get eBay involved. Save yourself the trouble and do not do business with Alabama Wiring on eBay. I honestly thought he took my money and my wiring harness. .... anyway I got it all connected and started I
And ran the engine. Ran the truck through the gears on the jack stands! Very excited! Starting on sanding some of the brush coated gray paint off to expose some of the original blue. This weekend I’ll remove all the glass and strip the doors and hopefully get everything sanded and ready for the satin clear. |
