Re: Gas Prices?
Very few gas stations in our small town. Valero just passed $4 cash price (+ 10 cents for credit card) for 87 octane. Summer isn't here yet.... this year could get interesting.

Re: Gas Prices?
I didn’t vote for the higher gas and food pricing but a lot of other people did .just to be on the record so blame me

We spend as much for food now as we used to spend 10 years ago when all 3 sons were at home.
Of course, food has the price of fuel mixed into the cost. |
Re: Gas Prices?
Yup meant don’t blame me
|
Re: Gas Prices?
Nampa Idaho $3.10 I bet I do not spend over $25 a month for gas as about every thing I need is within 5 miles of home ,and being retired ,no more miles to work and back ,, now that summer is coming and camping is figured in ,, and each of my camping spots are about a tank each trip ,,going and coming home,,,,I will use up probably 120 gallons...
Food prices are a different story .. I do not want to think about how much groceries are going to cost in another 10 years .. higher than heck right now . |

Not just food prices - there may not be much available. We're trying to buy some things locally like eggs and beef/lamb. Never had much luck with a garden around here. |

Oil just hit a peak not seen since 2014. Wild how it’s spiked just in 2021. Now about $80.....For Just a Barrel.
Propane is also at a high not seen in over 5 years. |
Re: Gas Prices?
And a little over a year and a half ago, oil was trading in the negative. Yes, literally paid to take it.
I just checked it because I didn't remember the actual number.....$-37 |
Re: Gas Prices?
Yep, just fueled up yesterday. Looking around while it fills and I look at the sign. What??
Maybe if they didn't call it a mountain chart it wouldn't climb so high |
Re: Gas Prices?
we jumped to 1.57 a litre couple days ago, so that,s almost $ 6 BUCKS A GAL.
|
Re: Gas Prices?
On Tuesday here in Ontario 1.31 a litre,Wednesday 1.45 back down on Friday to 1.38, just because it is a long weekend here for Thanksgiving, they always blame the higher prices on that!
