its been a long time . I was trying to build a truck and deal with Leukemia/chemo at the same time on top of healing from another back surgery. So I have a Ton of Pics to get caught up. |

Looks fantastic, and glad you're on the mend with your health!
Do you know what the original application for your brakes was? Is it newer silverado with 6 on 5.5 pattern? |
Re: Soap on a Rope

First two photos is my powder coating oven I built to powder my own parts.
Last photo is my bed floor with Fractal Burning on oak and filled with grey epoxy. Is there a way to get photos to flip? |

Re: Soap on a Rope
If you hold your phone vertical and then lay it over to the left so its horizontal with what is normally the bottom of your phone now on the right side and snap pics for the board that way they should post up correctly. Hope that makes sense haha.
I've never heard of fractal burning can you tell me how that's accomplished please. |
Re: Soap on a Rope
Fractal burning is done with a microwave transformer, you use a solution of water and baking soda and essentially electrocute the wood, burning craters in the wood. And after scrapping out all the charred wood you fill the burns with epoxy and seal with a uv stable bar top coating. A lot of work to get them to this stage. Also known as Lichtenberg figures. Very dangerous and Ive heard of people that have died doing this.

Hey guys, This is my tailgate logo I made up, pretty proud of it. It started as a paper template I made. I taped it to My old 62 GMC tailgate and used the dirty finger trick to trace out the letters. I then scanned it and turned it into a G code for my X-Carve. A very slow program took 23 hours to cut out.
