I actually took care of the interior TEMPORARILY last weekend..
I did a custom package tray with tan suede and installed a stereo.. I covered the seats with mexican blankets i found online and purchased.. before and after pics of the back seats below... BEFORE Package tray.. non existant.. Attachment 727092 AFTER... Attachment 727093 BEFORE Backseat.. front seats were worse.. I just used hog rings and added some padding.. :) Attachment 727094 AFTER Backseat.. Mexican blankets.. much better.. temporary cost effective fix... Attachment 727095 |

Oh and a buddy of mine did a rendering for me since I figured out paint..
No the paint won't be flat like that.. I don't think he knows how to make it shiny in photoshop.. but it will be cleared.. and don't mind the white spaces between spokes... he's new to photoshop.. but you get the general idea.. :) I'm still going back and forth on whether or not I want to shave the side trim that goes all the way down the car.. the rendering is without it! Re: Project DeVille
Lookin' good!
Those mexican blankets will do the job for now. You did a great job putting it together. Also, my opinion, keep the side trim. The caddy has A LOT of space on those sides, and I think the trim just helps break it up, since there aren't really any other drastic defining body lines. That aside, I think the blue on that will make it pop. Are you going to add some pinstriping? Anyways, great just Christina! That caddy is looking badass! |
Re: Project DeVille
nothing wrong with Mexican sarapes! think about it. get them dirty, throw them in the washer! fresh and clean. do that with upholstered seats...... I'm running blankets on both front and rear seats in my Caddy. I've even seen seats actually upholstered with them, and they look kick ass.
I'm digging your Caddy. do it your way and roll it...... |
