Some carpet and firewall insulation. Also the floor insulation kit. Found the "Starting Procedure" decal online, heated it, and the sunvisor with a heatgun, while applying, and it gave it the original "textured" look, I think?

I got it for $350, it was sent out to the repair shop years ago, I have all new hardware, knobs, antenna, etc. That's a terrible pic, it looks new in person. It's been amazing the NOS parts I have been able to find for this truck. I am going to take some pics of the boxes that some of the parts have come in, I have been saving most of the smaller ones. Thanks for the input!!!!

Looking back over this thread, I have to say these photos "Do Not" do it justice! Wish I had a better camera, or enough sense to use the one I have.... Everything looks so dirty, and milky? I promise, It's not !!!

Good thinking! I figured it must be something like that. Keep up the good work!

When a man tells me he is worried about matching alignment shims I tend to think he's a sick bastard. That's a compliment from me because I am one myself.

I used to work in the parts dept for the local (now closed) Chevy dealer back in the 80's. There was a time when restoring these trucks was all the rage around here and I remember selling tons of moldings, and stuff for them. Now you hardly see any on the road around here anymore.
You're doing a beautiful job. Nice to see you're going all original. It would be cool if you could get a repro window price/option sticker as well.

I have found a blank window sticker ! I haven't had anything typed in yet. outintheshop.com is making my SPID label as we speak, he may be the man to fill in the w/ sticker as well?
I also worked at dealerships, and remember when we had everything for these trucks! I was buying parts from the dealership for a 72 Z28 in the early 90's, full quarters, fenders, door skins, chrome, it was still available even then. I was blessed on this build to find all these NOS parts!!! Thanks for the input, brings back some memeories.....

Re: "All Out Original 72"

Folks, I have a question; Where are you purchasing your radiators? I can't seem to find one with the heater hose inlet in the top, or the top brace is grooved/channeled, and should be sota flat on top. I can't seem to find the oem spec one. 3 or 4 core, I can change the mounts easy enough. What I have found has been out the roof, $$$ !!! Any help would be appreciated!

Re: "All Out Original 72"

Maybe find some OEM or good used original tanks and have a new core installed??
