Brand new from Dennys for 36 bucks, I'm sure you could probably find a good used one but at that price I would go with new.

here are the wires im not sure about they were just bundled up behind the engine not hooked to any thing

Best i can tell the yellow blue wire was probably added for an accessory in the cab?

The wire with the little clamp feet on it i have not been in that area of my truck for 15 years but i do recall there was a wire that was bolted to the bellhousing of the tranny that looks like its probably it, but i will have to search further to figure out the plug.

The other greasy wire is leading me to think it may be the transmission TCS switch, it switches off the IGN advance when your in high gear, look at the side of the tranny and see if you can find a electrical connector that is missing a wire.

I still have not had the time or good weather to go crawl under my truck, i have also been trying to attach a schematic but for some reason it won't attach to this post..

i have ran out of extra money to put into my truck so i have slowed down on it. my dad had some primer left over so i ended up welding up the old trim holes and mirror holes and did most the body work and primed it. i started saturday morning and finished sunday night. so here is how it sits now

Lookin good! I still think the multi colored panels look pretty sweet, but a primered truck looks just nifty too! I love how everyone has their own idea on how to modify the same exact truck time and time again. Nice work!:uhmk:

Nice progress! I gotta admit tho every time i see a picture of truck/s with different color panels like you posted i am somehow reminded of my grandmas patchwork quilt. :)

Re: the 71 "break up" build

With it different colors I never had to worry about anyone messing with it. But my neighbors are really anal about things and were getting pretty mad about it parked in my driveway in front of my house. so it keeps them quiet for now :)

Nice score on the truck and even better progress. When you get to something you don't mess around. :metal: Very impressive. Subscribed.

You may end up with a vibration problem, if you do then your U jounts may wear out sooner, and it will also put additional strain on the diff and transfer case. it may be minimal. If you have a driveshaft place in your area i'd call and ask then how much it would cost to have then check the balance, keep in mind there gonna wanna sell you a new driveshaft. also check the junk yards for one too.

I love the bumper on the front of the white truck.. I'd rin it on my truck anyday over the stock one.

i found these seat belts in a 1967 and really liked the style of the buckles. im not sure if i will go with these seat belts or a black set of belts i have from when i had a buddy bucket seat so they have a middle belt as well. or i could go with newer style ones with shoulder straps. any suggestions?
