Worked for a few hours this evening. Installed the steering box and steering linkage as well as the brake calipers. I plan on rolling it out into the driveway in the next few days to set the engine in, so I threw the wheels on to see how they look. I wonder how much more it will drop in the front when the motor is in? :metal: The plan is to get the rear drop parts installed, to include the ECE drop trailing arm crossmember (ugh), and get the engine set in.

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"
stepside box lol. When i removed the leaf spring brackets from my frame I used a 4 inch flap wheel on my dewalt to grind off the rivet heads then used and air hammer to drive out the remainder.

I am grinding an X into the head and then pushing them out with a air hammer, It's just real tough under the truck with all the sheet metal in the way. Not to mention all the dust, dirt, and metal shavings. :waah: |

Finished with school!! What a huge weight off my shoulders, and it opened up a bunch of time to work on the truck. Worked for a few hours tonight removing the trailing arms, track bar, and a couple more rivets in the trailing arm cross member. I also received some Lokar swag...
