Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
Great looking truck! I always say that the 67-68's are the best looking. Saw a post earlier about you finding a truck in the mountains with your dad? Is this the truck?

Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
Wow we both have black shortbed 67's with small windows and we're both working and upgrading them while we drive them! I did the same thing to my 67 I put a new intake on and it's painted orange even though it's aluminum haha, I did the rear sway bar from a camaro to my truck and it was a pretty easy instal should be no worries, and I also have a 700r that I'm going to install to.. Crazy how similar our plans are lol

Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
Its actually comical how similarly our P.O's cut out the hole for the radio. It took me hours to clean up the mess they made with tin snips. The worst part is they cut out holes in the doors for speakers the same way. completely mutilated the sheet metal.
Those wide wheels will look good with some wider rubber on them. |
Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
I know I just gotta hope I can find some soon. I just hoping I won't have to tub cause it is going to be close to the inner fender, but I can't come out more or I run into the issue of rubbing on the fender lip.

Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
Looking good Roy :D Like those wider rear rims too, but yeah, tires don't look right for it.

Re: Project "BLACKOUT"
It has been an extremly long time since i updated this. Lately because since having phone issues its alot more difficult for me to post updates from a stationary device. but some things that happened since i stopped posting. got new rubbers all the way around, engine doesnt leak oil from the intake, in the process of fixing a hood thats in alot better shape than the one that is also on my truck. Also want to try to find a front valance for my truck so it kinda hides my crossmember and sway bar. Also gonna ditch the chrome valve covers and try to go for a stockish look. I will try uploading pictures but it gets difficult when i cant post photos from my phone.
