3 weeks later and wallla! rolling chassis powdercoated and assembled. also installed front/rear glass .. some trim.

I have a question, were leaf springs an upgrade option on these trucks in 71-72? I've seen a bunch of gmc with leafs but not many Chevy. Thanks

well while awaiting the complete rebuilding of the original 402 i had to make some room in my garage,so i placed bed on chassis.! also replaced old roller ties/wheels with new t/a radials,stock wheels and nos caps.
installed door latches,headliner..
