Got my seat and gas tank out to find out the mice did get to the truck:m2:
The gas spill did a number to my driveway

Looking good, I see the Infamous green paint under that orange, they must have painted over half of these trucks built that green..

Welded in the inner fender that I made and did some other body work. Once I get my rocker in and grind down some of the welds, it will look like new:chevy:. I also have plans to soon make some custom door sill plates.

Tell me about it. I was on a road trip and pulled over to take a look at a truck I spotted, a stepside longbox that was orange with the same turquoise underneath. It wasn't a 62, but pretty darn close.

Got my engine back together and now I'm having starter problems. Pulled the starter out today and will bench test it tomorrow

Cut the rib off of the bondo covered fender and welded it on to the red gmc fender that I got. Also welded on the bottom corner patch panel. The picture looks bad but it is all squared up and has the right curve to it. A little grinding smooth and it will look like new. Looks like I have a new Franken fender:chevy:

Got my radio polished up and painted and stained and cleared the knobs that I made from maple.

Decided to try some simulated wood grain for the first time on the ash tray handle to match the radio knobs. Turned out pretty nice and I may do it on other pieces.
