Thanks, I had one full coil cut out of the front and added 2" lowering blocks to the rear, the rear springs are a little worn but they should be coming out this weekend or early next week.

Front and rear coils torched by the PO along with 2" blocks in the rear. 255/65R15 tires. I plan on going with a 4/6 drop eventually to get the ride back.

Nice and clean looking like the shaved door handles

Thanks! I had some lock/unlock solenoids from a donor car, so it was actually cheaper to shave than to buy three new door handles....

(thread bump!)

Just did some work on mine. Got the front nice and low, I think the rear may need to come down a couple more inches. No bags, daily driver.

Here is my Burb with some new Ridetech & Accuair. Its pretty dirty in this pic. This is in the showroom at Extreme Motorsports in Brentwood, Ca. where I had the work done. It's aired out on the bumps w/20's.

I'm not crazy about the hood hinges but everything else looks great to me! Very clean, simple and understated. I love the look!

I would love to see more of this rig. How about some side shots with the hood closed? Interior?

THANKS

Re: How about some pics of lowered 2wd

I'm ready to pull the torched springs out of my Burb and put in drop springs. Anybody that's used the 4 and/or 5 inch drops have any advise for me? I want it low but I'm not up for cutting the frame or air bags.

I need a better ride than the sagged stockers are giving me- pounding and jolting over every bump and road flaw is aggravating my back. Feels like I need to wear a kidney belt to drive it some days.. I just don't want to get 5" springs and find out that I need other mods without knowing first.
Thanks a bunch guys- I appreciate it

Scott story had a build thread on it called "Tina, a patinaed burb". Check it out.

Yes I sold a completely restored 1972 and a 1964 shell so we could purchase this one.
