Last couple for now. I'm kinda at a standstill on making progress until I get my parts back from powdercoat. My dad is gonna try and make it up here in the next few weeks and we are gonna put the front suspension together, bleed the brakes, and hopefully take her for the first drive around the neighborhood. I am beyond stoked. Also looking into insurance companies, I've heard Hagarty is the way to go but I gotta do a little more research first.

You better start bribing Ace to do some exhaust work for you. Looking really good, Andrew.

Thanks Russ! Making the first one sucked but it was pretty easy to copy most of the bends for the second one. Just gotta get my pads and I can bleed everything.

Thanks!! I'm gonna order a stainless Magnaflow x pipe kit from summit and have Ace tig it all up for me. He doesn't need much bribing, usually a case of beer and he's good haha

Thanks RC, I really appreciate it. I didn't wanna mess with the stock interior, I think GM nailed it when they designed these things.

Well guys I've been on spring break all week. I spent most of my break at home spending time with the family but yesterday my dad came up and we put in a solid day working on the truck. Got all my parts back from powdercoat so we installed the front and rear shocks, rear bags, front springs, put the hubs and spindles together, pulled out the back glass and replaced the trim with new stainless. Everything turned out sweet and I am beyond stoked to be this close. I have to get brake pads and upper control arms and then I'll be ready for the maiden voyage. Here are a couple pics, let me know what you guys think!!

I had the powder redone on the spindles cause I really didn't like the gray they were done in before and it was cracking really bad. I talked to the coater and he said they were probably over baked and he redid them for free. I also welded up a couple holes that were in them from brake ducts. I like the gloss black a lot better and also go the springs done in gloss so they should have nice contrast against all the 20 black parts.

Last pic shows the modification I had to make to the lower shock bracket on the left hand side. The track bar mount on the back of my truck arm made it a pretty tight fit but it all worked out.

Hey Andrew,
Looking great. Are you going to be able to use the inner fenders or are you saving for some Slosh Tubs? I bet you are excited.
