Also spent a couple hours today getting all my gaps and body lines sorted out. It was never completely dialed after paint and bugged the crap out of me so I got some shims and took my time getting everything the way I wanted it.

Next on the list is get the brakes dialed. I ordered some pads from a place in CA that makes street compound pads for race calipers and they should be here in the next couple weeks. Once that's done I am gonna align the front end, fix the tailgate/bed issue, run exhaust, and get this girl on the road.

Yea Jeff it'll come to Mooresville for the summer. I am moving into a different house next year that doesn't have a garage so it's gonna stay in Mooresville for my last year of school. It'll be hard but I can't drive it in the winter so it'll be okay. I'll let you know when I get it back down there and we can meet up. I gotta check out that blazer too :metal:

Got a little done on the truck today on my break from studying. Had to get away from exam stress for a while so I put the front brakes together. Front pads showed up yesterday, had to have them made by Porterfield brakes in CA. Also had to get new hats and rotors from Pro Systems. The old ones were set up to use 1/2" of hat spacer and I wanted to get my front wheels in more so I got rid of the spacer and got shorter hats to keep the brakes in the same spot. The rear pads should be here Monday and then I can bleed the entire system and that'll be done. Next on the list is exhaust. I am probably gonna end up running an H pipe with Borla mufflers but haven't done the homework yet to figure out which kit I want. Here are a couple pics of the brakes installed, let me know what you guys think.

Hey Andrew. Looking great! Are you going to help your Dad with his build thread? He sent me some pictures of the rear clip and described how he is raising the bed floor. Sounds cool!

And yea I think it'll be sweet once its done, you gotta make it out here this summer and check both of the trucks out!!

Yea I got it down to mooresville a few weeks ago. I've been working on it every chance I get which is why I've been behind on this thread. I got everything dialed and ready for the road with the exception of the brakes. We bled everything and it barely has any pedal so we are gonna try and bench bleed the master tomorrow and see if that solves it. Other then that I have to nut and bolt everything and make sure all the lose ends are tied up and I'll be ready for the maiden voyage
