Yea, rotors are a consumable part was my point. Axles, hubs, wheels you buy once and it is what it is, rotors you'll need to have them drilled every time you need to replace them as part of routine maintenance and those heavy 20" wheels will make that more frequent.

Personally for me, this is the reason I went with Z51 brakes, far cheaper to deal with from a maintenance stand point and other than hard track use will function nearly as well, especially if you factor in that Z51s will let you run lighter 18s (barely) and Z06s push you into a heavier 19" wheel. Then again I run my brakes hard and run slotted rotors which if you want them to bite well are really doing a total brake job with rotors every, or at least every other, time you do them.

DBS slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads will run you about $400 or so to change out, Z06s of the same type will run about $650, and Wilwood, Baer or Brembos will be closer to a grand if not over and stationary calipers with the padlets have to be done more often.

I think I understand what your trying to say but on the rotors why would I have to get them redrilled every time they already come in a 6x5.5 bolt pattern as far as maintenance truck isn't going to be a daily driver actually it's hardly going to get used since I'm always working. Also I may be wrong but these rotors etc will last quite a while on my 06 ss clone it's got about 90k miles on it and still has the original rotors and it's always had 22s or larger wheels since day 1 when I bought it new in 06

Do these come in the 5x4.75 bolt pattern?

Re: 13" and 14" Corvette Brakes for C10's

The rotors come drilled with the bolt pattern of the hubs, so 'Vette rotors are drilled for 5x4.75, any other bolt pattern requires the center to be drilled for the new bolt pattern. I suppose you wouldn't need to redrill if it's a 2 piece modular rotor, though when I looked at those for my application they were triple the price, again new hubs would be cheaper. Kore3 did custom milled hubs for me for way less than a set of 2 piece rotors with caps, bearings and seals and anodized. Not to say my brakes were cheap they weren't not by any measure, but they are cheap to maintain, for 13.5"F/13"R brakes and have integrated parking drums.

These are the type rotors I have, DBA T3 one piece:

Either side slotted, no holes.

I have z06 rotors which are 14" but I would like the 15" rotors. They seem to only come in the 6 lug for the later model Chevy trucks

Anything g ever come of the camaro or cts calipers on a cpp modular spindle ? Or what's the cheapes route to make them happen ? I plan on running 18" wheels.

Are you still offering the kits? do you have a rear kit available? Pm me prices for a 5x4.75 if you still are. Thanks

I may have missed it, but do these work with our Ridetech modular C-10 Spindles?

This is my setup for the CPP modular with the Z51 PBR sliders for 13 1/2" rotors. It required spot machining the spindles as the CPP spindles are only faced on one side and my dual sandwiched bracket and spacer setup needed flat parallel surfaces on both sides. A lot of this has to do with the increased offset distance my custom hubs and pin mount adapters needed. It pushed the caliper too far out from the spindle to deal with with spacers on brackets on one side only. I was worried I would introduce a lot of caliper shudder if not outright failure of the casting. These were custom made for me (along with custom milled hubs) by Kore3. Oh and they do clear an 18" wheel, well mine anyway, but only by about 1/8th of an inch.

I made a set of brackets for my setup. See post 5. I believe John Glenn (astronaut) is doing the same with his C10.

What do you suggest using in the rear with this front set up?

Also, have you tried putting these on a Belltech dropped spindle?

Bump. Are the kits still available? I may be interested in one within the next few weeks.

Would you still be open to having us send you the CTSV rotors and calipers for designing of the bracket?

Kore3 also specializes in Corvette brakes. I have the Z06 front and rear on my 67.

I got a reply to my PM, and have responded. Looks like they're still selling them, just have gone a little quiet on the thread perhaps.
