Got the radiator support back from powder coater and it looks great! Got the spark plug wires ran and the billet specialties wire looms on. Got the carb feed line ran and had to install a 1inch spacer on the carb so i could get some vacuum. Is it just me or does it seem like theres never enough time in the day when working on your project? Next weekend got to tackle the transmission and brake lines.

After freezing my butt off all morning at a softball game, i got some me time! Ordered Lokar Transmission dip stick and oil pan dip stick, but the oil pan is a push in style and my pan is threaded. After a long time with summit they agreed to eat the charges because they suggested that part. Got the fuel pump and regulator mounted and braided hose ran. I'll have to go back and clip my hose up. One more week and Im on spring break, thats when i'm going to fire the truck up for the first time. Then headed to good guys to get some new ideas and pick up some new parts.

ya got thermostat housing from billet specialties to match everything else and its a monster, but thats world we leave in now, when you have to order everything on the internet. I needed the part right then and i just ate the 80 dollars to get my engine going. But im sure it will be changed just like the Brakes!;)

Well i got my air cleaner form Eddie Motorsports today, I thought i ordered matte but it came polished. Guess a trip into town to see the powder coater is in order. Also worked on a work bench this weekend. I need a vice to use my new Eastwood flaring tool for my stainless steel lines.

You worked on a workbench so you can work on your lines? That sounds like a lot of work to me. :smoke:

Looking real good, GK!

That might be why my first thread post was 9-10-09 and still don't have a truck yet!
