Re: 67 short fleet
still a good price. I was going to say...if it all looked as nice as the back of the passenger seat you would have STOLEN them :D

Re: 67 short fleet
matt i would tak ethe covers and foam off nicely.....mine had the frame rusting, it has pits..... i would inspect the frame to see if it is rusting and take care of it. i am not talking about the frame that the 3 seats mount to but the actual seat frames under the foam.

Re: 67 short fleet
I have not touched truck in months. I filed for divorce on June 30. I think I will still have the truck when it is all over. We will see. Priority is the kids and trying to keep the home. There is a ton of stuff to do to the truck that won't cost anything. Just my time. But why bother if I loose it.

Re: 67 short fleet

I found this on craigslist for $160. I had a friend buy it for me. It was $172 shipped to his door. At least I will heve a tach dash when it is all over! I'll pay him when the divorce is all over! I thought is was a deal.

Re: 67 short fleet
I just did the 72 accelaertor pedal swap today on my 68. The pedal installed great, but the cable was to long. I had to buy a rebuild cable from autozone to have it link up. there was to much binding in the cable. I also picked up one of those wiring harnesses from a juck yard for $25. already assemblied works out great.

Swap meet today:metal: Found some good buys! 67-68 radiator support $80 no rust through, just some surface rust. Bumper brackets $10, T-3 headlights $1 each, Made in USA line wrenches $1 each, 1 1/16" wench $0.75, New door handles $10 each, window cranks $8 each, battery tray $14. Wheels for the torch cart $3. Re: 67 short fleet
Those are some GREAT deals! The T3's I've been selling for 75/pr. And the rad support is worth an easy 150-175!

Re: 67 short fleet
Awesome buy Matt!
I just sold a 67/68 core for more than double what you purchased that one for. Hope that life is going well up north. |
