I still need a a/c compressor delete pulley, water pump gaskets, and a power steering pump puller....oh and figure out how to wire up alternator.

Ca you get a/c delete pulleys from the salvage yard or is it an aftermarket thing?

Re: My 86 build

just checked the ones I have

My extra front shocks are 15" extended and 10" compressed
My rear are 23" extended and @15" compressed
those measurements are center of eye to center of eye
I ran my spare fronts on the back of my crew after the flip, I'm going to weld on new mounts to my axle and make some frame mounts inside the frame where I can run the longer shocks in the rear

aftermarket, think there about $50. I still have a a/c compressor, just dont want to run it with no oil. I want to be able to have a/c someday.

Thanks joe...thats just about what I need. I'll have to try a set, my rear ones are way too long, they were allmost compressed all the time!

I went and talked to the owner to see if it was for sale, he said yes and that he had lost interest in it, he said $300, and I said $200 and now I have to find some way to get it home! The inside is full of parts, tail lights, glass, rad, gastank, door panels etc. There's two fenders and the rad support on the back, there's a hood, bumper and tailgate behind the truck on the ground....Pretty good score I think!

Re: My 86 build

It's got a lot of good parts on it, hood, tailgate, glass, new doors and fenders, there rusty but I need a set of doors bad, and a good frame. I want to take this frame and "z" it, body drop it, notch, bag and 4 link the rear so I don't have to take mine off the road. Even the cab is really good too so I could use it, find a box, LS motor and trans and I'd be all set.
